CMBC Business and Cultural Tour to Ghana

Join us for the CMBC Business and Cultural Tour of Ghana, a 10 day experience aimed at providing an overview of the business and cultural landscape of Ghana.

Upon arrival on the first day is just about getting settled and having a nice dinner at Labadi beach hotel which is where we will be staying. The fun really begins on the 10th, where we will be taking part in all the following activities throughout the day:



  • Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park
  • W. E. B. Dubois Center for Pan African Culture
  • Independence/Black Star Square
  • Art Centre
  • The National Museum
  • James Town fishing community
  • Accra Cultural Centre

Kakum Rain Forest

White Sands Beach Resort and Spa

Sunday 12th February

This day is all about amazing views as we explore the beauty of the Central Region. This includes:


  • Transportation to Cape Coast
  • A tour of Elmina Castle
  • A tour of Kakum Rain Forest
  • Lunch at White Sands Beach.

13th February - 15th February

We will be meeting with industry leaders to understand the business landscape in the following sectors:


  • Agro-processing
  • Real estate and land
  • Fintech and IT
  • Healthcare  
  • Education
  • Fashion and textiles  


In addition, we will:

  • Visit a cocoa plantation and cocoa factory  
  • Visit a local producer of shea butter and black soap
  • Attend a Reception at the British High Commission
  • Meet the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre to find out the requirements for investing in Ghana
  • Visit the Ghana Stock Exchange for those interested in stock market investing


We will then travel to Aburi in the Eastern Region where we will tour the land for those who are interested in buying land near Accra and then have dinner at the Hillbury.

On the 16th Februray we will travel to Kumasi where we will check-in at the Golden Tulip hotel. We will then take a tour of Kumasi where we will visit the:


  • Cultural Centre
  • Manhyia palace 
  • Okomfo Anokye Sword site
  • Kejetia Market
  • Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology to find out about the University BOT Building programme. 
  • Visit Lake Bosomtwe to view available land to buy as well as take a boat ride along the only natural lake in Ghana. 


We will also visit a local orphanage as a way to give back to the community.

16th February - 17th February 

Kumasi

18th February - 19th February 

On these dates we will:


  • Travel back to Accra
  • Take a compulsory COVID-19 test to be on the safe side before we travel back.
  • The rest of the evening is your own to explore Accra as you wish
  • Travel back to London which will then conclude our trip.
